When the senator stopped at the FSJCP location, the eagerness to share with her the Frederickson community's concerns about not having a park was immediately understood. Cantwell explained that she had not heard of the Cross Park project.
Cantwell was struck by the passion and urgency shared by FSJCP members, as well as the Frederickson Clover Creek Community Council president and secretary, Angela Magill and John Marshall, respectively. Cantwell shared information that could help the gathering move the idea of a community park closer to fruition.
She further explained that she would also discuss the matter with some important people around the state, asking one of her staffers to make some calls. Magill said she "hoped this was the beginning of a new partnership between the senator and the community of Frederickson. That was an exciting discussion to have with the senator."
