Democratic Candidate Marilyn Rasmussen Commits to Speak at F-CCCC Meeting

Marilyn Rasmussen, the Democratic candidate for Pierce County's District #3 council seat has committed to speaking and taking questions at the Sept 15th meeting of the Frederickson Clover Creek Community Council.

The F-CCCC represents residents in the heart of district #3 who hold key votes for the council seat. Many residents were fond of outgoing councilman, Roger Bush, who will be stepping down in December due to term limitations.

F-CCCC President, Angela Magill, has also invited the Republican candidate, Jim McCune, who has not yet committed to the event.

Magill states the monthly F-CCCC meeting will start at 9 a.m. with some normal community business, but then turn to the candidates who will each be given ten minutes to share their platforms and will be followed by 20 minutes of pre-approved questions asked by a moderator. The event will end with 20 minutes of questions from the audience.

Now community residents will get a real opportunity to hear from both the republican and democratic candidates before deciding their votes. Democrat, Marilyn Rasmussen, committed last week to the event.

McCune is currently the state representative for Washington's 2nd congressional district.
